He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Richer and Sylvia Richer; and his siblings, Emelda Savard, Solange Mandytch, Denise Jetté, Gilles Richer, Fernand Richer, Lorraine Richer, Hugette Gaudette (late Garfield) and Jeanne Richer.

He is survived by: his sisters, Rena Hebert, Claudette Seguin and Louise Dubois. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
