He was predeceased by : his parents, Percy Castonguay and Jeanne Castonguay; and his siblings, Bernard (Claudette), Vivianne (late Gilles) and Cécile (late Normand).

He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Castonguay; his child Gene (Tammy); his siblings, Carmelle (late Clarence), Suzanne (Paul) and Rhéal (Catherine); and his granddaughters, Kayla and Jessica. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
