He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Chevrier; his parents, Dassise Chevrier and Blanche Chevrier; his brothers, René (Esther) and Lionel (Jacqueline); and his granddaughter Vicki.

He is survived by: his close friend Irene Cornish; his children, Sue (Marcel Morin) of Chelmsford, Diane (Richard Lauzon) of Chelmsford, Joanne (Fern Bélanger) of Chelmsford, Lianne (Gary Lavigne) of Chelmsford, Ron (late Diane) of Chelmsford and Glenn of Strathmore, AB.; his sisters, Jeanette (late Ernest Coté) and Yvette (late Stanley Piaskoski); and his grandchildren, Julie, Mike, Jason, Jeffery, Trevor, Travis, Tess, Roger, Tiffany, Alex, Nicholas, Tania, Jessy and Joey.
