He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Maxwell and Verna Maxwell (Sweiger). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (McTavish); his children, Suzanne Maxwell of Chesley, George D. Maxwell (Nancy) of Chesley and Lynne Walsh (Bob) of Sarver, Pennsylvania.; his grandchildren, Kim Gowan (Jeremy), Kelly McPhatter (Mark), Brent Maxwell, Sam Walsh and Abby Walsh; his great grandchildren, Keith, Rory Gowan, Lauren and Owen McPhatter; and his sister Reta Davis of Walkerton.
