It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Rody (Chesley, Ontario), who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Bill" Rody and Elfreida Rody (Preuss); his grandson Andrew; his son-in-law Richard; his wife Marilyn (Osterndorff); his children, Heather Baldwin (Richard) of Meaford and Andrew (Lisa Menary) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Marley, Kayla and Keegan; his siblings, James (Joyce) and Nancy Frook; his brother-in-law Charles Osterndorff (Nancy); his godchildren, Kathleen Horrigan and Mark Frook; his brother-in-law Harry Frook; and also, Marilyn, William "Bill" and Elfreida Rody (Preuss).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rhody Family Funeral Home (65 4th St SW, Chesley, ON N0G 1L0). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Grey Bruce Hospice Inc. (Chapman House) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
