He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Pegelo and Ruth Pegelo (White); his wife June (Adams); his grandsons, Tyler and Daniel; his great grandchild Avery; his sister Audrey Hopkins; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Fidler, Jim Walker and John Daniels.

He is survived by: his sons, Terry (Tracy) of Elmwood, Darryl (Teresa) of Durham, Cecil (Amanda Bennard) of Port Hawkesbury and Scott (Anna) of Owen Sound; his grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley), Brandon (Lisa), Jennifer, Alicia (Doug), Andrew (Sierra), Christopher (Amy), Wesley, Nolan, Anthony, Curtis (Mariel), Cody and Courtney (William); his great grandchildren, Justice, Murphy, Abygail, Allison, Zoey, Emmett, Evelyn, Charley, Adam, Matthew, Alice, Loretta, Alexa, Benjamin, Liam, Dalton, Brooklynne and Paula; his sisters, Carole Fidler, Margaret Walker and Jean Daniels; and his brother-in-law JD Hopkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
