She was predeceased by: her parents, David Rumble and Gladys Rumble (Cowie); her husband Harold Howarth; her son-in-law Walter S. Macdougall II; her brother Stewart Rumble (Jean); and her brother-in-law Ralph Tucker.
She is survived by: her family Madeleine; her daughter Elaine Macdougall (Harold) of Durham; her grandchildren, Stewart Macdougall (Joanne), Ruth Macdougall, Valerie Griffin (John) and Harold Macdougall (Amanda); and her sister Isobel Tucker of Tottenham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Salvation Army, Hanover & District Hospital Foundation, or the Irondale Community Church (cheques payable to Bark Lake Cultural Developments) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
