She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alles and Mary Alles (Manto); her husband Russell; her children-in-law, Mary Golem and Bob Nicholson; her brothers, Melvin Alles (Wanda) and Eldon Alles (Annie); and her siblings-in-law, Marion Janke (Mel) and Ken Golem (Anne).
She is survived by: her cousins, Wilma and Mel Janke; her pet Dick; her children, Brenda Nicholson (Dave Black) of Port Elgin, Gerald and Kevin (Patti) of Lake Rosalind; her grandchildren, Grant (Karly), Scott (Shelly), Jennifer, Trevor (Julia), Jessie and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Anna, William, Dominie, Xavier and Sterling.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhody Family Funeral Home (65 4th St SW, Chesley, ON N0G 1L0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Memorial donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
