Maurice Byers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maurice Byers of Chesley, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene (Kaufman); his brother Dennis; his brothers-in-law, Harold Sachs and Ken Kaufman; his nieces, Shirley Sachs and Angela Bell; and his parents, Percy Byers and Pearl Byers (Strucke).
He is survived by: his siblings, Phillis Sachs of Hanover, Marjorie Blake (Merv) of Hanover and Peggy Bell of Chesley; Elaine Schantz (John), Janelda Lipskie (Harold) and Barb Murdock.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Klages Mill (11 1st Ave N, Chesley, ON N0G1L0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chesley Community Church, Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or VON Grey-Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
