She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Speer and Nellie Speer (Minary); her husband John "Jack" Ruff; her daughter Annette Atton; and her siblings, Charlie Speer (Grace), Eva Clements (James), Roy Speer (Myrtle), Mildred Fenton (Harold), Allan Speer (Margie), Fred Speer (Isabelle), Watt Speer (Jean), Hilda Morrow (Alvin), Art Speer (Freda) and Jack Speer (Hazel).

She is survived by : her siblings, Charles, Mary (Eva) and Walter; her family Peggy; her children, Tom Ruff (Mabel) of Tara, Bob Ruff (Marlene) of Tara, Nancy DeVries of Tara and June Meyer of Edmonton; her son-in-law Mark Atton of Elmwood; her grandchildren, Julie, Chris (Cathy), Alex, Elvin, Andy, Angie, Jamie (Candra), Marty, Alicia (Brad), Matt, Dan (Nicole), Kerri (Hal), Michelle (Larry) and Jennifer (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Jena, Logan, Austin, Tyson, Keagan, Aiden, Gavin, Rianne, Hanna, Madelyn, Emma, John, Carter, Kloe, Serenity, Kamryn, Joseph, Naomi, Axl, Gemma, Eric and Marshall; and her great great grandchild Blair.

Here, she was supported throughout Covid and truly gained a second family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 383 Tara would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
