Alida Corput Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2025, at the age of 88, Alida Corput (Chesterville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bartholomeus Meyer and Gerarda Meyer; and her siblings, Gret Kersten (Ger), Alie Meyer, Toon, Bart, Jaap and Jan Meyer (Joke).
She is survived by: her husband John Corput; her son Andy Corput (Stacey) of Dunbar; her siblings, Riet Baas (late Anton) of Almonte and Theo Meyer of Holland; and her grandchildren, Josh, Machar and Lual. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home (62 Queen St, Chesterville, ON K0C 1H0). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Presentation Roman Catholic Church (10 Church St, Chesterville, ON K0C1H0).
