He was predeceased by: his parents, Pringle Murphy and Greta Murphy; and his siblings, Ruth Murphy, Jean Wickwire and Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Murphy; his son James Allan Murphy (Gloria) of Glen Stewart; his siblings, Garry (Della) of Iroquois, Gale Reynolds (Doug) of Iroquois, Wilda Vandemheen (Adrian) of Dixons Corners, Nancy Croteau (Guy) of Iroquois and Aden (Linda) of Williamsburg; and his grandchildren, Mary Murphy, Anthony Shearer and Thomas Shearer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
