He is survived by: his wife Donna Vanderwerf; his children, Lacey VanSchyndel (Charles Winter) and Brandon Vanderwerf (Lori); his siblings, Corrie Stone (Mike), Adrienne Rapp (Jim), Barbara Vanderwerf and Mary Anne Guilbert (Paul); his grandchildren, John, Nick (Brilyn), Kaitlyn, Leanne (Dylan), Isaac, Clara, Emmett, Jack, Vera and Ruby; and his great grandchild Reese. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
