Mary Fawcett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Fawcett (Chesterville, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Milne and Ruth Milne; her husband Ralph Fawcett; her brothers, Arthur, Allan (late Shirley), Frank (late Betty) and Bob Milne; her son-in-law Steven Merkley; and her grandson Matthew Merkley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Fawcett (late Martin) of Cornwall, Joanne Shay of South Mountain, Colleen Merkley (late Steven) of Ault Island and Maureen McLean of Ault Island; her brother Douglas Milne (Phyllis); her siblings-in-law, Jean Milne and Joan Milne; her grandchildren, Shannon McLean, Alana McLean (Reto Wolfensburger) and Marissa Merkley; and her great grandchild Felix Wolfensburger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Ridge Cemetery (12820 County Rd 43, Chesterville, ON K0C1H0).
