He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Laplante and Lucille Laplante; his sister Shirley Laplante; and his grandson Shane Laplante. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Laplante; his children, Deborah Adams of Hamilton, Greg Laplante (Melody) of South Carolina and Todd Laplante (Cheryl) of Moose Creek; his sister Veronica Ferris (late Jack) of Toronto; and his grandchildren, Collin (Kaila), Lindsay (Matt), Brent (Kristen), Darryl Abigail (Kelly) and Candice. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
