She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Thompson; her parents, Fred Barton and Doris Barton (Hylands); and her brother-in-law Dan Orrell. She is survived by: her children, Mike (Tammy) of Tillsonburg, Jeff (Cindy) of Tillsonburg, Tania (Keith Van Haverbeke) of Langton and David (Nicole) of Paisley; her grandchildren, Selina, Nick, Samantha, Jesse, Mike, Stephanie, Justin, Justine, Levi, Caitlind, Kate, Jeremy and Seth; her great grandchildren, Serenety, Baylee, Brayden, Kaia, Abbi, Easton, Kyland, Livia, Brynleigh, Landen and Karsyn; and her sister Patricia Orrell of St. Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
