He was predeceased by : his son Rob Briere; his father Richard Rock; his stepfather Gerry Hanson; his mother-in-law Marie Briere; and his stepmother-in-law Oliva Briere.

He is survived by : his wife Lucille Rock (Briere); his children, Chantal Rock, Shawn Cadieux of Wallenstein, Jesse Rock, Mindy Phillips of Wroxeter, Jordan Rock of Clifford and Brody Rock of Clifford; his grandchildren, Maddie, Reece, Jade, Natalie, Ethan, Chase and Blake; his mother Sherrin Hanson (Baker); his siblings, Catherine Rock of Lucknow, Dale Listman of Lucknow and Rick Rock of Lucknow; and his father-in-law Jerome Briere of Newington.
