He is survived by: his wife Lillian Evans; his children, Connie and David Townsend; his grandchildren, Elysia Townsend of Clinton, Amber Townsend (Moe) of St. Thomas and Brett Townsend of Clinton; his great grandchild Eden of St. Thomas; and his siblings, Anita McKinley of Blenheim and Richard Barnes of Bayfield.
