He was predeceased by: his father Chris Ellens; his grandparents, Carl, Dorothy Rose, Alex and Doreen Ellens; and his aunts and uncles, Darryl Seigner, David Wilkinson, Ann Ellens and Sharon Rose.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy Ellens; his siblings, Char Ellens and Chase Ellens (Angel) of Saskatchewan; his siblings' children, Catherin Morrow (Tanner), Caroline and James Ellens; and his aunts and uncles, Carol Wettlaufer (Maurice), Randy Rose, Michelle Seigner, Juanita Reevie (Andy), Joe Ellens, Marg Trupp (Barry) and Alec Ellens.
