He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Chambers and Gladys Chambers; his stepmother Ruth Chambers; his in-laws, Jim and Gloria McEwing; and his sister Betty Jacklin (Sanderson).

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Chambers; his children, Laura Bruinsma (Shawn) and Paul Chambers (Sarah); his grandchildren, Will, Eve, Jack and Louis; and his siblings, Wes Chambers (Mary Ann) and Suzie Dale (Terry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or to Clinton Legion Branch 140 are welcomed.
