He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth; his wife Sally; his parents, Oscar Hodgins and Irene Hodgins; his parents-in-law, Wilfred and Verna Glazier; his brothers, Mervyn, Laverne, Melvin (Barb) and Lynn; and his sister-in-law Iva (Rick Newman).

He is survived by: his children, Morgan Hodgins, Justin Lunick, Brady Hodgins, Andrea, Chris Turcotte, Darryl Postma, Shaunnah Rae, Jennifer, Mark MacLeod, Jamie Hodgins and Tanesha Cook; and his brothers, Al (Alma Hodgins) and Chester (Ann Hodgins). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to Huron Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family as it made his final journey so wonderful.
