He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sowerby and Julia Sowerby; and his sister Debra Sowerby. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sowerby (Johnston); his children, Melissa Maidment (Brad), Stacey Stephenson (Jamie), Shannon O'Brien (Dean) and Meagan Landon (Mike); his grandchildren, Myles, Wren, Thalia, Grayson, Reese, Tenley, Hendrix and Nora; and his brother Randy Sowerby (Brenda).
