We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2022, at the age of 89, Elly Simons (Clinton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Maria Timmermans-Backx and Andreas Timmermans; her husband John Simons; her siblings, Jeff Timmermans (Canada), Joke Timmermans (Nederlands) and Cory van Gompel (Nederlands); her brother-in-law Paul van Gompel (Corrie); her grandchildren, Chris (Megan), Jennifer (Seamus O'Neill), Grace, Matthew (Katie), Thomas, Kristina, Natasha (Julian), Dylan, Zachary, Fraser, Kyle (Vivi), Petra, Dorian and Isadore; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Fiona, Quinn, Lachlan, Luke, Will, Nicholas, Owen, Annalise, Kiera and Cadence. She was also cherished by eight sons and daughters.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to honour Elly, might donate time, money or appropriate resources to a local food bank, emergency women's centre, Salvation Army or sight giving organizations.
