He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howatt and Roberta Howatt; and his sister Irene (Arnold Storey). He is survived by: his wife June Howatt; his child Leslie Howatt (Les) of Clinton; and his siblings, Carman (Ruth Howatt), Murray (Joan Howatt) and Eleanor MacLean of Durham.
