He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Privatt and Marion Privatt (Litt); and his sister Kelly Privatt. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Mike Blok and Amanda Blok (Corey); his daughter Kelly (Paul); his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Melody; and his brothers, Tim Privatt and Gary Privatt. He is also survived by children, and many great-grandchildren.
