She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Courtney and Marcella Courtney; her siblings, Helen Riegling (Max), Ursula Richardson and Edward Courtney; her brother-in-law Don Saunders; and her nephew Paul Riegling.
She is survived by: her husband Percy McClenaghan; her children, Gavin McClenaghan of Calgary, Scott McClenaghan (Kammy) of Chatham, Michael McClenaghan (Aimee) of Whitby and Shannon McClenaghan of Bayfield; her grandchildren, Drew, Ethan McClenaghan, Broderick, Alexander, Samuel Gould, Madison and Cassidy McClenaghan; her brothers, Desmond Courtney (Linda) of Ipperwash and Michael Courtney (Joan) of Ashfield Township; and her in-laws, Matt Richardson of London, Lee Ann Courtney of British Columbia, Cheryl Saunders of Clinton and Calvin McClenaghan (Amanda) of Lucknow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 140 (95 Kirk St, Clinton, ON N0M1L0).
Memorial donations to the Betty Cardno Memorial Centre or the Alzheimer Society Huron Perth would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
