It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek George Ringham (Cobden, Ontario), who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Derek departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Derek may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Derek leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ringham; his daughter Sonia Discher (late Steven Discher); his grandchildren, Tania Discher (Raymond) and Ryan Discher; his great grandchild Alicia Discher; and his sister Iris Wheeler (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
