Hazel Hawthorn Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Hazel Hawthorn of Cobden, Ontario is shared. Hazel passed away on October 24, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Hawthorn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Hawthorn; her son Harlow Hawthorn; her siblings, Gordon (Rosemary), Clifford (Peggy), Lula MacKenzie (Ken) and Edna Moore (Alvin); her nieces, Lorraine Deslaurier (Tom) and Sharon Forgeron (Ken); and her nephew David Oattes.
She is survived by: her son Harvey Hawthorn (Barbara); and her granddaughter Jeanette. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home (5 Crawford St, Cobden, ON K0J1K0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Guide Dogs of Ontario at Manotick or the Ross Museum would be appreciated.
