In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Beth Byce; and his siblings, Leonard, Jean Brown and Kaye McEwen. He is survived by: his children, Joy (Tom Robinson), John, Gordon (Lorraine Bennett) and Faye (Bill Bonnar). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home (5 Crawford St, Cobden, ON K0J1K0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
