She was predeceased by : her husband Arnold Bennett; her son Graham Bennett; her parents, Percil Collins and Muriel Collins (McBride); and her siblings-in-law, Lillis Hawthorne (late Gordon) and Millar Bennett (late Muriel).

She is survived by : her close friend Kevin Wren; her daughter Colleen Wood (Doug); her grandchildren, Allison Gendron (Steve) and Cheryl Ramsay (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Robert (Brooke), Alexis (Chance), Emma and Sofia; her great great grandchildren, R. J. and Jackson; and her siblings-in-law, Annie Taylor (late Gordie), Clair Huckabone (Harold Storie), Linda Kohlsmith (Gerry) and Carson Bennett (late Nora). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
