Though Lawson may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Ruth Rooney; his brothers, Earl and Evan Rooney (Mick); and his nephew Mitch Rooney. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nell Rooney; and his sibling's children, Abbey Rooney, Shannon Peck (Leroy) and Scott Rooney (Tamara).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home (5 Crawford St, Cobden, ON K0J1K0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
