Lois Gwendolyn Gilchrist Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Gwendolyn Gilchrist of Cobden, Ontario, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Gilchrist; and her siblings, Eunice Labine, Arlie Norman, Carol Durocher and David Deschamps.
She is survived by: her children, Fay Woodward (Elroy Sack), Donna Gilchrist (Robert Johnston), Heather (Kevin Ramsbottom), Lianne (Richard Bedard) and Connie Bettinger (Dan Toll); and her sister Marjorie O'Brien. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home (5 Crawford St, Cobden, ON K0J1K0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Church (37 Main St, Cobden, ON K0J1K0).
