He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Sherwood; and his siblings, Arthur Broomfield (Rosemary) and Sharon Broomfield. He is survived by: his children, Chris Broomfield (Michelle Burley) and Matthew Broomfield (Melissa); and his sisters, Linda Lansley (Art) and Wendy Broomfield.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A 1K7).
Donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
