Irene Margaret Tait Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Margaret Tait (Cobourg, Ontario), who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Irene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Irene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine and Edward; and her husband Tom. She is survived by: her brothers, Martin and Philip; her children, Catherine (Nina) and Douglas; and her grandsons, David and Ben.

At Irene's request, there will not be a funeral; however, a memorial donation in her honour, to Northumberland Hills Hospital, would be appreciated.
