We announce the death of James Anthony Aldcroft (Cobourg, Ontario), who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 89. James Anthony will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Mary, Frances Radway, Theresa Aldcroft, Daniel Aldcroft, Elizabeth Rioux and James Aldcroft; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Brenna, Matthew, Yasmine and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Jade, Dahlia, Luna and Sage; his siblings, Wilfred, Edward, Gail and Michael; and his siblings-in-law, Lil Coombs, Bernadette Aldcroft and Betty Lem (Wood).
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (379 Division St, Cobourg, ON K9A3R7). A reception was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Columbus Community Centre (232 Spencer St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1C5).
