He is survived by: his children, Dianne McVety, Wayne McVety, Patricia Young (Kevin) and Bruce McVety; his grandchildren, Kim (Rick), Karrie (Adrian), Trevor, Michael (Julie), Kevin, Carrie (Tom), Tina (John), Alex, Shannon (Corey) and Mathew (Erica); his great grandchildren, Joseph (Taylor), Jamie (Meagan), Kelly, Quinn, Zane, Justin, Ashley (Mitchell), Catelyn, Ethan, Michaela, Jessica, Evan, Felicia, Desiree, Tyson, Haylee, Cadence and Holden; and his great great grandchildren, Sofia, Emmitt, Aspen, Tomas, Jackson and Kye.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7).
