He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty McBride Curtis; his children, Delkie Curtis (Linda), Terry Curtis (Sandra), Wendy Symons (Wayne), Trevor Curtis (Brenda) and Nancy Bassutti (Tony); and his grandsons, Brandon Symons (Lauren), Kyle Curtis (Amy), Stephen Curtis (Andrea), Dale Symons (Erica), Bryan Curtis (Taylor), Anthony Bassutti (Jenica), Joshua Curtis (Kerri), Travis Curtis (Jessica), Cassidy Curtis and Nathan Bassutti (Jessica). He was also cherished by his in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the Cobourg Union Cemetery (110 Elgin St W, Cobourg, ON K9A5H3).
