With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leo McDonald (Cobourg, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leo left this world on December 11, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roger and Ed; and his parents, Leo McDonald and Eleanor McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Heather (Eagleson); his children, Daxton, Marcia Young (Norm), Aaron (Diana) and Trisha (Neil Brown); his grandchildren, Lauren, Brier Young, Daxton Jr., Nikolas McDonald, Emma and Charlee McDonald; his sister Rosalie Clarke (Greg); and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary McDonald, David, Sharon Eagleson, Bryce and Susan Eagleson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends.

Donations to NHH Chemo Clinic or Eds House Northumberland Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
