Margaret Anne Bond, lovingly known as Marg, passed away peacefully in Cobourg, Ontario, on September 25, 2026, at the age of 76.

Born in Cobourg to Harold and Helen Johnstone, Marg will be remembered for her kindness, wonderful sense of humour, and generous heart. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

Marg will be lovingly remembered by her son, James Bond, and his wife, Amy; her granddaughter, Hailey; and the cherished memory of her grandson, Harley, who predeceased her.

She is also survived by her brother, K. Wayne Johnstone, and his wife, Violet; nephews Stephen and Stacey Johnstone; Stacey’s wife, Jackie; and great-nephew Nicholas.

Mel held a special place in Marg’s heart, and Marg loved her like a daughter. The family also extends heartfelt thanks to Marg’s neighbour, Jerry, for his kindness, friendship, and constant support.

Forever loved, always remembered.
