She was predeceased by : her husband Ernie Johns; her daughter Elizabeth Hutton (Jim); and her parents, Stan Higgins and Cora Higgins. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Hayward (Mike), Nancy Zacharoupolous (George), Sandra Tinney (Doug), Fred Woolacott (Mary) and Stan Woolacott.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Cobourg Corps.
