She is survived by: her significant other Rosemary Barnes; her daughter Laurissa Barnes-Roberts; and her siblings, Ruth Lidwill (Robert Elliott) and Murray Webb (Lyn Webb).

After retiring in 2017, she continued to volunteer with E. Fry Toronto until the COVID pandemic disrupted this work.
