He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty "Boo" Eddy; and his brothers, Jim and Pete. He is survived by: his wife Cash Eddy; his children, Don Eddy (Phyllis), Scott Eddy (Sharon) and Wendy Smith; his stepsons, Randy Richardson (Jenny), Dan Richardson (Tammy) and Greg Richardson (Wendy); his grandchildren, Jessica (Jeremy Savoie), Jeremy Eddy (Jessica Wynn), Christine Eddy, Ben Eddy (Toriann), Dana Smith and Erin Smith; his great grandchildren, Anna, Oliver, Grayson and Janessa; his sister Mary Bertin (David); his sister-in-law Judy Eddy; and his cousin Garnett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SickKids Foundation or Ed's House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
