He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Yde and Yvonne Yde; and his sibling Ronny Yde (Marleen). He is survived by: his wife Christina (McCavish); his children, Chantale and Rocky Yde (Lindsey McWhirter); his grandchildren, Duke Yde, Oaklyn Hellam, Landon and Blakley Simpson; his siblings, Betsy May (Rick), Jane Sumners (Bob), Ricky Yde (Sylvia), Randy Yde, Nancy Bowman (Gary), Belinda Smith (Wayne) and Natalie Dalgarno (Andy); and his close friend Mike Perry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ed's House Hospice in Rocky's memory.
