He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rachar "Ray" McIelwain (Connie) and Ann McKenzie (Wallace). He is survived by: his wife Connie McIelwain; his children, Glenn, Emily (Tim Casey) and Liz (Clayton Rutherford); his granddaughters, Rosie and Lucy Casey; his son Jon Spence; his sisters, Pat Malott (late Mike) and Mary Tulett (David); his sister-in-law Debbie (Ken); and his pet Clementine.
