She was predeceased by: her parents, James Michael Doyle and Shirley Cecelia Doyle; and her brother Michael James Doyle. She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her daughter Nicole Cecelia Forbes; her son-in-law Zachary Forbes; her siblings-in-law, Vicky Georgopoulos and James Georgopoulos; her nephews, Jason Georgopoulos, Michael Georgopoulos and Steven Georgopoulos; and her aunts and uncles, Patrick Doyle, Danny Doyle, David Doyle, Carol Doyle and Anne Doyle. She is also survived by her many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (379 Division St, Cobourg, ON K9A3R7). A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Camborne United Church Cemetery (3414 Burnham St N, Cobourg, ON K9A4J7). A reception was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Columbus Community Centre (232 Spencer St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1C5).
As many readers of this notice will know, Wendy was a 19-year survivor of a double lung transplant and was passionate regarding the need for organ donation, as well as the related research and supporting organizations.
