Monique Desormeaux Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monique Desormeaux of Cochrane, Ontario, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Tia Johnston; and her parents-in-law, Oscar Carrière and Denise Quesnel. She is survived by: her husband Rodger Desormeaux; her children, Samantha Johnston (Cody), Zachary Johnston, Roger Desormeaux (Natasha Cloutier) and Annie Bernatchez (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Davis, Amelia, Haiden, Nikolas, Shelby, Kyana, Dakota, Dexter, Konnor, Demetrius, Harper, Rowan and Violet; her parents, Liette Cheff and Philippe Girard; and her siblings, Mario Girard (Chantal) and Diane McGill. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Remembrance donations made to Sick Kids Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
