He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Swanson; and his nephew Jeremy Brown. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Walmsley, Michael Swanson (Stephanie) and John Swanson (Tara); his grandchildren, Kurtis, Kyle, Asha, Isabelle, Sadie and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Violet; his siblings, Gaye Impey, Herschel and Lars; his sister-in-law Joanne Swanson; and his nephews, Matthew, Peter Swanson and Grant Frost.
