He was predeceased by : his son Leonard Bidmead; his parents, Alfred and Margaret; and his brothers, Don and Bill.

He is survived by : his wife Betty; his children, Bradley, Kerri Bidmead, Cheryl and Tony Malone; and his grandchildren, Beth McInnes, Hudson, Capri Malone, Hunter and Skylar Bidmead.
