She was predeceased by : her brother David Grant; and her brother-in-law Bill Wagg. She is survived by : her husband Roger Melanson; her children, Michele Melanson, Steve Melanson, Jack Melanson, David Melanson (Lisa), Tammy Whitehead (Paul) and George McAllan; her sister Tina Wagg; and her sister-in-law Doris Grant. She is also survived by many grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance is limited to a specific number of people within the funeral home and must reserve a time by phoning the funeral home 705-686-3344 to secure a time slot for your visitation with the family.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the Diabetes Canada or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
