With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon McKay (Coldwater, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon McKay and Elizabeth "Betty" McKay; and his brother Robert McKay. He is survived by : his daughter Heather Steele (Norris); his granddaughter Laura; his siblings, Michael McKay and Brenda Checanis (Bill); and his nieces and nephews, Tammy (Kurt), Michelle (Josh), Maureen (Ryan) and Shannon (Andrew).

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coldwater Funeral Home (22 Sturgeon Bay Rd, Coldwater, ON L0K1E0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of John may be made to the Dialysis Unit of the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or to Diabetes Canada and may be made through the Funeral Home.
